I would buy that in a heartbeat, as I've been holding off on buying a new laptop because I can't use my iMac as a screen (as the old, non-retina ones could). Nor can you use this card to spoof your Xbox into thinking it has a 4K display attached when it doesn't. The team at Elgato should create a 5k thunderbolt 3 card, with software to allow using 5K iMacs as displays. The 4K output must be active, with the Elgato app on a second display, otherwise the 4K pass through on the card won't work and you're limited to 1080p. So, if you have a single screen and wanted to capture 4K while playing using Instant Gameview, you're out of luck. What it won't do is capture 4K anything from the Xbox One X unless you have a 4K display connected to the capture card, and you're actually using it. Using the cable in the box, capturing 4K60 content from the Xbox One X is no more difficult than any other Xbox with any other Elgato capture card. I even used 'gpedit.msc' in W10 and changed the code driver setting to 'warn' as opposed to 'Not Configured' and still got nothing. Windows 10 Device Manager only showed Elgato Sound Capture and I never saw an entry for the HD 60 Pro. Instant Gameview is exactly that, it feels lag free and it actually works. The Elgato software never picked up the PS4 signal on the HDMI IN port on the card.
Once everything is OK, performance is fantastic. Please follow the steps below, in order to possibly resolve this issue: 1) Please try Elgato Game Capture HD60 Pro in another PCIe slot on your Motherboard.
